Welcoming a newborn into the world is a momentous occasion, and capturing these early days with a photo session is a beautiful way to preserve the memories. Recently, I had the pleasure of photographing 10-day-old baby Jude, and it was a heartwarming experience filled with tender moments.
At just 10 days old, baby Jude was still in that sweet, curled-up phase, perfect for those classic newborn poses. We started with lovely family pictures with his mum and dad. It was such a pleasure to capture their love to this tiny baby boy. These family portraits are often the most cherished, as they encapsulate the bond that is so strong in those early days.
The session took place in a cozy, warm environment, ensuring Jude was comfortable at all times. We used neutral tones and soft textures, which created a timeless feel, allowing Jude to be the star of every shot.
Newborn sessions like Jude’s are a reminder of how fleeting these moments are. In just a few weeks, he will grow and change, but these photos will forever capture him as he was—tiny, perfect, and deeply loved.
If you’re considering a newborn photo session, I recommend scheduling it within the first two-four weeks after birth, when your baby is still sleepy and easily posed. It’s an investment in memories that you’ll treasure for a lifetime, just like the ones we created for baby Jude.
